Appalayagunta Temple, the abode of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy. The presiding deity of the temple is in Abhaya Hastha Pose(Blessing Hand). The temple is located in appalayagunta village which is located at a distance of 16km from tirupati town via Tiruchanur(The abode of Sri Padmavathi Amman). 

The auspicious annual festival of the temple is Srivari Brahmotsavams. It is celebrated for a period of 9days in the month of Jyestha(May/June) in every year. In this year 2015, the Lord's annual brahmotsavams begin on May 30, 2015(Saturday) with Dwajarohanam  and conclude on June 7, 2015(Sunday). 
The another important festival is KALYANOTSAVAM. It is celebrated on Shravana Nakshatram(The Lord's Birth Star) in the month of Jyestha(May/June). This year 2015, Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Kalyanotsavam will be celebrated on May 11, 2015(Monday). Live Web Telecast on www.svbcttd.com

• During the day of Gaurda Seva on June 3, 2015(Wednesday), the Utsava murthy(processional deity) will be decorated with Sahasranama Lakshmi Haram which is usually decorated to Lord Malayappa Swamy in Tirumala Temple during Garuda Seva.
• TTD along with HDPP organizes cultural programs like Burrakath(బుర్ర కథ), Tholu Bommalata(తోలు బొమ్మాలాట) , Harikatha(హరి కథలు) etc., during this mega religious fete at Appalayagunta Temple.
