Shri
Amarnathji Yatra 2015 begins on July 2, 2015(Thursday) and culminates on the day of Shravana Purnima(Raksha Bandham) August 29, 2015(Saturday). In continuation, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board(SASB) announced the commencement of registration and registration process details. The offline registration process of Shri Amarnath Yatra 2015 began on March 2, 2015(Saturday) simultaneously for both the Batal and Phalgam(Chandanwari) routes through 430 designated bank branches.
Yatris who are willing to undertake Shri Amarnath Yatra 2015 can register themselves from registration counters located all across the country through 430 designated bank branches.

- J&K Bank(86 branches),
- YES Bank(37 branches) and
- Punjab National Bank(307 branches).
Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2015:
Shri Amarnath Shrine Board will perform Prathama(first) Pooja on
June 2, 2015(Tuesday) at any suitable place amidst chanting Vedic Mantras to
seek blessings from Shri Amarnathji (Lord Shiva) for smooth and safe
conduct of the Pilgrimage.It is an ongoing tradition since 2011 to perform prathama(first) pooja on the auspicious day of Jyestha(June/July) Pournami.
Guidelines/Important Instructions:
- No one Below the age of 13 years or above the age of 75 years and no Pregnant Lady with more than six weeks Pregnancy will be allowed for Registration.
- A valid Compulsory Health Certificate should be submitted.
- Only Compulsory Health Certificates issued(certified) by Doctors or Medical Institutions authorized by the concerned State Government/ Union Territory administration will be valid for registration. List of authorised Doctors or Medical Institutions across the country.
- Compulsory Health Certificates issued after February 10, 2015 will be valid.
Registration Procedure for Shri Amarnath Yatra 2015:
Shri
Amarnathji Shrine Board has provided the registration facility on
First-Come-First-Serve basis through the 430 designated bank branches.
- Step1: Yatris shall collect the Registration Application Form and Compulsory Health Certificate Form from any one of the registration counters (designated bank branches) (or) download the forms from the website of shri Amarnathji Shrine Board. www.shriamarnathjishrine.com
- Step2: Filled-in application form and Compulsory Health Certificate along with 4 recent colour passport size photograhs should be submit at respective registration counters by paying of Rs.50 for handling charges.
- Step3: A valid Yatra Permit will be issued with specified colour code, date and route after verifying all the documents.
Registering Bank working Hours to register Yatri across the country:
- Monday to Friday: 3pm to 6pm and
- Saturday: 1pm to 4pm
- A Yatri who wishes to travel by Helicopter will not be required to register separately for the Yatra.
- A Yatri who travels by Helicopter will be required to submit Compulsory Health Certificate Only at the time of boarding the Helicopter
