Managudi
program is a mass temple festival conducting by the TTD to promote and
propagate Hindu Sanatana Dharma and preserve the great values embedded
in the Hindu religion for the future generations. This
year 2014 TTD is conducting the novel program "Managudi"(means "Our
Temple") on August 10, 2014(Sunday), the day of Shravana Pournami.
History of Manadudi Program:
For
the first time this program was started by TTD on the day of Shravana
Pournami, the day of Raksha Bandhan(Rakhi Pournami) in the year 2012
across the state of Andhra Pradesh. Second phase of Managudi Program was
conduted by TTD on Karthika Pournami November 28, in 2012.
In 2013, Third phase of Managudi program was conducted on August 21, 2013 and 4th phase was organized on Karthika Pournami 2013

Objective of the TTD Managudi Program 2014:
TTD is scheduled to conduct this novel program on the auspicious day of Shravana Pournami i.e. August 10, 2014(Sunday).
The 5th phase of holy Managudi program will be conducted in 56,000 temples across the states of Andhrapradesh and Telangana. Kankanams(Holy Threads), Pasupu(Turmeric) and Kumkuma(Vermilion) will be distributed to the devotees in all 56,000 temples on this occassion.
During this 5th phase of novel program, TTD has arranged "Prachara Ratham" (Publicity Vehicle) to give wide publicity about the program in villages to take part in this religious event.
Schedule of Various Activities during Managudi Program 2014:
- Spiritual Address by Bhramasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao on the importance of "Managudi Program" for couple of days before starting of Managudi Program
- Auspicious “Managudi” Novel Program on August 10, 2014(Sunday) on the auspicious day of Shravana Pournami.
