Shri Amarnath Yatra 2014 began on June 28, 2014(Saturday) and will be concluded on the day of Rakhi Pornima August 10, 2014(Sunday) for a period 44 days. On the commencement of Shri Amarnath Yatra 2014, BSNL has provided GSM Mobile coonectivity enroute Holy Cave both from Phalgam as well as from Baltal route during the Amarnath Yata 2014.

BSNL Telecom Facilities during Shri Amarnath Yatra 2014:

BSNL is the only Mobile operator, provides GSM Mobile connectivity for the Amarnath Yatris. BSNL Mobile Facilities are extremely valuable for Amarnath Yatris to keep in touch with their familes during the Amarnath Yatra.

Mobile Postpaid Services: Registered Yatris shall get BSNL/MTNL Postpaid SIM cards from their respective Circles with Roaming Facility for mobile connectivity during the Yatra.

Mobile Prepaid Services: BSNL has made special arrangments for the sale of special AMARNATH YATRA SIMs at base camps both at Pahalgam and Sonamarg/Batal.

• FREE Talk Time: 120minutes to any Network. 
• Required Documents to get a SIM: Esteemed Yatris have to submit the copy of Yatra Slip along with POI/POA(Proof of Identity/Proof of Address) and 4 passport size photos.
