Managudi program is a mass temple festival conducting by the TTD to promote and propagate Hindu Sanatana Dharma and preserve the great values embedded in the Hindu religion for the future generations.
This year 2013 TTD is conducting the novel program "Managudi" (means "Our Temple") on November 17, 2013 (Sunday), the day of Kharthika Pournami.
History of Manadudi Program:
For the first time this program was started by TTD on the day of Shravana Pournami, the day of Raksha Bandhan (Rakhi Pournami) in the year 2012 across the state of Andhra Pradesh. Second phase of Managudi Program was conducted by TTD on Karthika Pournami November 28, in 2012. Third phase of Managudi Program was conducted by TTD on Shravana Pournami August 21, 2013(Wednesday).
Objective of the Managudi Program 2013(4th Phase):
TTD is scheduled to conduct this novel program on the auspicious day of Karthika Pournami i.e. November 17, 2013(Sunday).
Managudi program is also aimed at enlightening the students and youth about the values and ethics embedded in Hindu Sanatana Dharma.
