Rishikesh: Sri Venkateswara Swamy(Lord Balaji) Temple Address & Darshan Timings

Sri Venkateswara Swamy Mandir is located in Rishikesh, a holy city in Dehradun district, Uttarakhand, India. The main deity of the temple is Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy, popularly called as Lord Balaji in this area. In the temple, shrines of  Goddess Sridevi, Bhudevi and Goda Devi(Sri Andal), Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy, Sri Anatha Padmanabha Swamy and Garudalwar are present. The main festivals which are being conducted every year in this temple are ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAMS and BANDARA(on the death anniversary of Sri Satchidananda Saraswati Maharaj). All the sevas and rituals starting from Suprabhatam to Ekantha Seva as in Tirumala Temple are being offered to Lord Balaji.

History of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Rishikesh:
Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple was constructed in 1972 near "Andhra Ashram" which is running by TTD. The Andhra Ashram was built by "Sri Satchidananda Saraswati Maharaj" in 1942 and handed over to TTD in 1969. is the abode of Sri Venkateswara Swamy(known as Balaji). After the construction of the temple, "Samprokshana" was done by "Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Ramanuja Pedda Jiyar Swamy" on November 30, 1972. As of now also Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) is maintaining the Sri Venkateswara Mandir@Rishikesh.
