Shri Maha Kaleswar Temple is the third sacred Jyothirlinga of Hindu Dwadasi(12) Jyothirlingas. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva in the form of Lingam. The temple is located at Ujjain, Madhyapradesh State, India. The Lingam at the temple is believed to be Swayambu(born of itself), deriving currents of Power(Shakti) from within itself as against the other images and Lingams which are ritually established and invested with Mantra-Shakti.
