Bhadrachalam Temple is the abode of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy. The Temple is located on the banks of Godavari River, Bhadrachalam, Khammam, Andhrapradesh, India.
The Temple was constructed by Kancharla Gopanna, a Local Tahsildar and fervent devotee of Lord Sri Rama in the 17th century. He is also known as Bhakta Ramadas.
The most important festival is Sri RamaNavami. On this auspicious day Sri Seeta Rama Kalyanamahotsavam is celebrated in a grandeur manner.
Every year Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam is celebrated on Chaitra Suddha Navami(March/April), Punarvasu Nakshatra(Birth Star) of Lord Sri Rama. This year 2014, the Sri Rama Navami festival will be celebrated on April 8, 2014((Tuesday).
